We are all God's children, we have to remember to love for, and restpect each other. No better day to remember this then on Earth Day. God created the earth for all of us.
These are the questions for homework. We read a Native American folktale called Why the Baby says "goo"
1. Why is the chief respected by his tribe?
2. Why dosen't the baby obey the chief?
3. Why does the baby cry after the chief comes into the wigwam?
4. What surprises the chief about the baby?
5. Who is right-the wise old woman or the chief?
6. What does the chief learn?
7. What shows that the old woman is very wise?
8. At the end of the story we learn what "goo, goo, goo" means. Explain.
9. We learned that the chief has no children. How might he have acted differently if he had a child?
