**Reminders** School Closed on Monday May 26th, Memorial Day Observed. Wednesday May 28th is the SFA science Fair. Projects were due on May 27th. Sunday June 1st SFA will be on the Prayer Channel, and class 3-105 will be representing the school, so look for yourself. Channel 30.

Do Now: ate, meet, eighth, one, so, won, meat, sew, to, ant, too, do, aunt, two, due, brain, communicate, social, solve, subject. A,B,C, order 3 times each, define challenge, sentences for all, story using words.

ELA: Do Animals Think? Audio and visual skills, make inferences, write a tale, use an encyclopedia index, form generalizations, multiple meaning words.

Math: Writing Division Stories (p 374-375.) Relating Multiplication and Division (p 384-385.)

Religion: Chapter 26, The Kingdom of God Continues to Grow.

Science: What habitats are found in a pond? (page B8-11.) You depend on plants and animals. (page B12-13.)

Social Studies: The Declaration of Independence.

Homework: Define spelling words 1-15. Practice book pgs 200-206. Math book pages r & p 7-3, r & p 7-5. Science, Religion, Social Studies given in class. Bring in trip slip and money for trip.

**Reminders** Tuesday May 20th is our trip to the Queens Symphony Orchestra. Please bring lunch, wear your uniform and be here on time. Wednesday May 21st is the rain day for the Crowning of Mary. Please bring your clothing to change. Friday May 23rd is Field Day. Please bring lunch, something to sit on, and wear comfortable clothing.

Do Now: Coast, valley, port, outdoors, wildlife, harmed, safe, bay, island, country, gulf, migrate, forests, continent, mainland, crates, loops, rescuers, starve, strip. Copy new words, 3 times each, A, B, C, order, definitions, and sentences.

ELA: The Koala Catchers. Audio and visual skills, author's point of view, use a resource, form generalizations, context clues, and multiple meaning words.

Math: Division as repeated subtraction, (372-373.) Writing division stories, (374-375.)

Religion: Continue with Mary (chapter 25) and the Rosary.

Science: What makes up an Ecosystem? (B6.) What habitats are found in a pond? (B8.)

Social Studies: The Declaration of Independence! We will look at a version of it and do some activities.

Homework: All will be given in class. We have a very busy week and I may not get everything completed. Science project due May 27th.

*Note* My Godfather is very ill. There may be two days or so that I may not be in. I am sorry for this inconvenience.

**Reminders** Friday May 16th is the May Crowing. The First Communion students must wear their Communion clothing. Please join us. May 20th is our trip to the Queens Symphony Orchestra. May 23rd is Field Day. Tests in math and spelling on Friday!
