Tomorrow is or Christmas show. During the day the students will be having a dress rehearsal, they are required to wear their costume during the day. PLEASE send them to school in their clothing. For the show in the evening; please have your children in school by 6:00pm. The show starts at 7:00pm. We have to be ready for the opening act. Please be aware that your child may have a speaking part and are a necessary part of the show, please be on time.
On Thursday December 18th, 2008 3-105 will be celebrating the holidays in the classroom with a small party. Each child is required to bring in the following:

Reminders: SFA Christmas show on 12/17/08 at 7:00pm. Students must be in school by 6:15pm. Dress rehearsal in the morning. Last day of after school is 12/18/08. 11:00am dismissal on 12/19/08-NO AFTER SCHOOL!!!!!! Christmas vacation December 22nd, 2008- January 5th, 2009. Reminders: Monday school closed. Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The SFA Christmas show is Wed. Dec. 17th.

Spelling/Do Now: Advent, Prepare, Four, Weeks, Guadalupe, Regroup, Two, Digit, Adding, Three, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Compost, Trash. Challenge Words: Attic, Black Widow, Costume, Den, Zinnia. A,B,C order, 3 x each, define words, sentences, and a story.

Handwriting: will be done in out handwriting notebook.
Grammar: action verbs and using capital letters and commas. Pages 65-70.
Phonics: listen for long O. Pages 53-56.

ELA: Moses Goes to a Concert. Read aloud and motivate, develop visual literacy, main idea introduce summarize, & context clues.

MATH: Addition Properties pages 66-69. Relating addition and subtraction pages 70-71.

RELIGION: Story of Juan Diego and Our Lady of Guadalupe. Story of Saints Ann and Joachim, how Mary came to be their child.
