All students must please bring with them a bagged lunch, plenty of water, and a blanket or towel to sit on. I allow my students to carry a small backpack to make travel easy. Students must wear sneakers, sweat pants or a decent length shorts, and the 100 year anniversary t-shirt. We will be leaving Prospect Park to return to school at 1:00, the class will have homework so all students are to return to my classroom. Please leave cell phones, I-pods, and video games at home. If I confiscate any of these items they will not be returned until the last day of school.
Now that the end of the year is approaching I will be collecting money for two items. Our classroom monitors will be graduating. I am collecting $2.00 from each student for the gift cards that I will be buying. I will match the amount of money that the class brings in myself. Our monitors have helped us in many areas throughout this year. Please have this money into me by Wednesday June 3rd. The other money I will be collecting is $3.00 form each student for our end of the year breakfast. Once the money is collected I will go and purchase the food. Each student will participate because it is an end of year celebration. In total I am asking for $5.00 form each student. Our end of the year celebration will be on Tuesday June 16th at 8:30 am, any parents that can help I would appreciate it. If you feel it is easier to send in the money at once please feel free to do so, the due date for the breakfast celebration money is Friday June 12th.

just a quick note!

The students received their third trimester progress reports toda friday May 1st. If it brought back on Monday May 4th they will receive a sticker on the chart. That is the only homework that they are resposible for. Another note is that now we are in the third trimester, I give a weeks notice of upcoming tests. I will not give a make up test with out a doctors note, not a parents note. The student will take the 0% grade, this has always been my policy. I understand that there are reasons that your child may be absent but there seems to be a lot of absences on test days. Sister Barbara is aware of this.
