Dear Parents:
Every month SFA will be participating in an OUTREACH. This month SFA has decided to collect money to donate to the children in Haiti. The money that we collect will go toward purchasing desks like the one pictured above for their classrooms. This is a one day collection. The money will be due on Friday October 23rd, 2009. We are trying to show the students that we need to help our fellow man, and not always think about ourselves. They can take $1.00 from the allowance or their piggy banks and give it to the less fortunate. As we know education is very important and how uncomfortable those students must be on a daily basis. Friday is the collection day!
Thank you,

Homework 10/15

Dear Parents:
I am very disappointed to report that many students are not completing their homework on a nightly basis. Some parents expressed that there is too much homework, so I cut down each night. Event though changes were made, there are still children with no parent signature and incomplete homework. I post the homework on the website; this should not lead to any problems. Homework is worth 20% of your child's grade in each subject and progress reports are coming at the end of this month. Please be aware of this.
