We are all God's children, we have to remember to love for, and restpect each other. No better day to remember this then on Earth Day. God created the earth for all of us.

These are the questions for homework. We read a Native American folktale called Why the Baby says "goo"
1. Why is the chief respected by his tribe?
2. Why dosen't the baby obey the chief?
3. Why does the baby cry after the chief comes into the wigwam?
4. What surprises the chief about the baby?
5. Who is right-the wise old woman or the chief?
6. What does the chief learn?
7. What shows that the old woman is very wise?
8. At the end of the story we learn what "goo, goo, goo" means. Explain.
9. We learned that the chief has no children. How might he have acted differently if he had a child?

weekend homework

Due Monday April 19th.

 Please re-sign the rules, consequences, and rewards contract.
 Math: please keep a journal of ELAPSED TIME for these entries. 1. How long do you sleep each night? 2. How long does it take you to eat each meal? 3. How long does it take you to do the activity you have planned for the day? Please put a start time, end time, and the elapsed time.
 ELA & SCIENCE: April 16th is special pet day. Please write a paragraph about your pet, and why they are so special. Please add a picture. If you do not have a pet, please write about that you would like and why they are special to you. Please add a picture.
 Please send in $1.00 for our flower box. April 22nd is Earth Day and we need to have planted some flowers in our box.
