Homework for 12.19.2011
1. Reminders: Thursday is an 11:00 dismissal. No After school program!! There is no school on Friday.
2. Tomorrow is the last day of collection for Hour Children (our Christmas outreach.)
3. Please return the signed quizzes from 12.16.11.
4. Define: Manger, Candy Cane, Carols, Family, Tree, Candles, Evergreen, and Ornaments.
5. Science: What is the electromagnetic spectrum?(page F43)
6. Math: 15x5= 14x6= 28x3= 34x7= 43x4= Leeanndra has 30 books. She wants to put the same amount on 6 shelves. How many books will go on each shelf?
7. Religion: Go to www.torahtots.com for a basic description about Hanukkah. (If you are unable to do this, we will discuss this tomorrow.)

Homework for 12.16.11
1. Tickets tonight are $10.
2. Please be here between 6:00 and 6:15pm(BE ON TIME!). Please be dressed in your costume. NO SNACKS!!!! EAT SUPPER(DINNER) BEFORE YOU COME!!!!!!!
3. I am sending home the math quiz that we had today. Please have your parents sign that. I am also sending home a blank copy, redo the quiz, have your parents sign that AFTER it is completed! (DUE MONDAY! DO NOT HAND IT IN TONIGHT!)
4. Read 30 minutes each night this weekend(3 entries: Fri, Sat, Sun.) Summarize what you have read(1 paragraph/5 sentences.)
5. Finish pages R & P 5-5.

Homework for 12.15.11
1. Christmas show clothing was sent home today. Please wear your uniform to school tomorrow. Wear the costume when you come BACK to school at 6:15pm.
2. Reading Comprehension and Multiplication/Division story quizzes tomorrow. Please study.
3. Tickets are $7 now and $10 @ the door.
4. Read for 30 minutes tonight and answer the question: what is the problem in the story? No less then 1 paragraph(4-5 sentences.)
5. Religion: during the prayer service, Sr. Theresa said that we are preparing for the birth of Jesus. How do you prepare to for Jesus during the Advent season?(4-5 sentences)

Homework for December 14, 2011
1. The dress rehearsal went well. I will send the clothes home tomorrow. Please come dressed for Friday's show 6:15pm!!!
2. Reading comprehension and multiplication and division stories quizzes on Friday. Please study pages 154 and 155 in textbook and R & P 3-10 in workbook.
3. Read for 30 minutes and answer the question: what is your opinion of what you read? (no less than 1 paragraph!!)
4. Religion: review the question that I stapled in your notebook for Penance tomorrow. Talk about them with your family.
5. Bring back signed newsletter, purple survey, raffle $$. Tickets are on sale $7. or $10. at the door.

2. Christmas show Costume: Jeans, Christmas colored shirt (red, green, blue, white, or purple. Please no name brands on the front.) A Santa Hat.
3. Grammar Workbook pages 69 & 70.
4. Practice Workbook pages 79 & 80.
5. Math: worksheet given in class.
6. Study the lines for the Christmas show.
