I hope everyone had a safe and healthy vacation.
We ask that everyone keep in their prayers the fourth grader who lost his mother this vacation. It is a difficult time in his life and our prayers will help him and his father get through this.

Reminders:

• All late work is due Monday February 25.
• No late work will be accepted after this point.
• 8th grade State Math test is 2 weeks away!!
• Half a day Friday!
• Report cards are just 2 weeks away as well.
• 7th grade quiz on Wednesday
• 8th grade has their warm up graded each day (it is a state review question) and therefore will not have a test this week
• Vacation homework is graded as a test grade. Please make sure your child did it.

7th hw:
Monday-all on loose leaf: 8-3 multiples of 4, r 8-4 #15, write the 2 circumference formulas 10 times each

Tuesday-8-4 multiples of 3, study for quiz on area

Wednesday-quiz on area, r 8-5 #1-12

Thursday-8-5 odd, quick project

Friday-8-6 odd, 8-5 even, bring in 50cents for project

8th hw:
The worksheets deal with part II and III of the state test.

Monday- big review book pg 59 #11-20, pg 197 #10-19
Worksheet #1-6
Find the GCF of three expressions given in class

Tuesday-big review book, finish worksheet
Wednesday-6-5 multiples of 3, worksheet
Thursday-6-5 multiples of 4, 6-6 multiples of 3
Friday-6-6 multiples of 4 and finish worksheet

There will be a confirmation meeting this Saturday!! (Feb. 16)

The children all got a reminder. Please return that reminder to school by Weds.

The children should also have their saint essay done and should have paid the $80 fee.

Please make sure this is all up to date.

Parents please check your child's homework each night. Many may say they do it, but are not handing it in. I check homework every day-and you should see my mark on it.

On a positive note many of them are doing very well!!

Happy 100 days!!! Monday is the 100th day of school!!

We are accepting used DVDs for a 19 year old boy in the hospital. If everyone could look through their DVDS and donate ones they are not watching-this is a great Lenten gift to him.

Vacation homework will be given out on Weds.

Please have all supplies in daily-looseleaf, pencils, calculator, protractor. This is the time of year when supplies run out-please buy new ones.
