Announcements and Math hw week of 10/27

Thank you to the parents of the following students who came and helped out on Saturday night. These parents made the dance possible. The parents of the following students: Gabrielle, Nicholas and Jeffrey, Tony, and Keon. It was great to see the kids having such a good time.

We are planning on going to the Museum of Natural History on Thursday. That is if we have enough chaperones. As of now each class is still in need of 2 chaperones. Many students also have not brought in their money or their permission slip for the trip. We will make the decision on Tuesday about whether or not the trip will be cancelled. Please contact the school and let us know if you can spend a fun day with your child and help us out!

The Walk-a-thon is November 10th. I hope people are raising money for this great fundraiser. If you are interested in collecting money after mass this Sunday please let Ms. Becht know. Also please ask relatives and neighbors.

The 8th grade took their specialized test on Saturday and will have the TACHS test to take on November 8th. If your student would like some extra help they are welcome to stay in at recess with Ms. Becht or come to school early. You can help your child by having them take a practice test and going over it with them.

Progress reports will be handed out on Wednesday. Some of the students did very well. This is a chance for you to see their progress thus far. Feel free to set up an appointment to meet with any of the teachers. We are always eager to meet with parents.
