I hope everyone is enjoying their vacation.

I hope you have done your essays for ELA and your castle learning for all the subjects.

There was a wonderful show back in the early 90s called Square One. It is a math t.v. show and has some fun skits.

For extra credit go on Youtube and type in these shows in the search bar. After watching the videos email me the answers for some extra credit.

What is the chorus of the song? (what line do they keep repeating?)
What is the food they eat?
What is the burger place they are talking about?

This will be a busy week with Christmas show and the holidays approaching.

The 7th and 8th grade had an open book test today (Monday). This will be their grade for the week.

Some of the students are doing such wonderful things. Feel free to send me an email and I will gladly update you on their progress.

There is castle learning assigned for the holiday break. Feel free to get a head start on it. It is due once you get back.

I also will post some you tube videos that you can watch for extra credit.

Every class has been assigned 2 castle learning activities. There have been others assigned this year and they need to be completed as well. All of the castle learning activities must be completed before you return to school in January.

Each season we try to reach out to those in need. As a class we discussed charities we wanted to donate to. A lot were suggested and then Avery suggested Savedarfur.org. We then voted and discussed why it is important to help those in Darfur. We are asking that each student bring in a donation before they leave for Christmas break. Please go to Savedarfur.org to learn more about this great organization!!

Hello Everyone I hope you enjoyed a great three day weekend. It was wonderful to meet so many of you again or for the first time last week. Those parents I have not seen yet for a report card, please call and set up an appointment.

The 8th grade is busy preparing for the Christmas show which is on Wednesday the 17th! We hope to see you all there.

Holiday homework will be castle learning and will be posted next week.

We are having a fun time learning and exploring all about equations. This is a new chapter and everyone seems to be excited about the change.

I have assigned a castle learning assignment for both grades. It is due by December 12th. Feel free to do some extra for extra credit. This is great practice!!!
