A new start... .(Math hw week of 3/16)

This is the beginning of a new trimester. This is a great time to start fresh. We are now going to be doing a lot of differentiated learning in our classroom. This means that the students will get a choice of 1 of 3 activities. The choices will be either a "LIke it,: "Love it," or "Gotta Have It" activity. We had the first day of this and things went really well. Everyone seemed to be fully engaged :)

It was wonderful meeting with so many great parents these past couple of days. Thank you for all who came out.

I also want to thank those people who participated in the Big Apple Fundraiser!!

There is a trip next Thursday for 30 7th and 8th grade students. They all got their permission slips and they must be brought back by Thursday. We are still looking for a chaperone. It will be a great trip to the courthouse.

For extra credit...students feel free to send me an email about how you are liking/not liking this new way of learning....Let me know your thoughts....
