Math hw week of 4/27 and announcements

This week there is a lot going on.

Progress reports will be given out in Advisory on Thursday.
7th grade is working on projects on Geometry.
8th grade is starting a chapter on Probability.

The 100 year year book is on sale for $25. You could also buy space in the book to write a message.

7th grade
They are working on 3 different projects, a park, a bridge, or a fictional piece. Each night they have a different piece to work on. Take a look in their notebook to see what is due when. The entire project will be done on Thursday-for presentations on Friday.

Tuesday they are getting their chapter 7 tests back that need to be signed and corrected.
There is no quiz this week-their project is a quiz grade as well as a project grade.

8th grade-each day this week we are working on investigations about Probability. These wkshts are going to be graded.
Mon-get the test signed and corrected
Tues-journal entry
Weds- r 11-1 #1-2 draw a tree diagram, 11-1 #1-2 draw a tree diagram
Thurs-11-1, quiz on percents and probability
Fri-finish worksheet

Many students did not hand in their Easter vacation homework. Please make sure you hand in your book reports tomorrow. The novels were read in class so there should not have been a problem with doing the report.

Math hw week and announcements of 4/20

I hope everyone enjoyed the break and did the vacation homework on Castle Learning!!! I hope everyone enjoyed Easter with those they love.

Remember the Easter season continues...

Also progress reports come out on May 1...very soon. If you want to know what your grade is now send me an email.

Also no late work is going to be accepted until further notice. So homework must be done on time....

7th grade-this week there will be choices in the warm up and we are starting a project on Friday. They will also have a choice on that.

Weds-come up with 20 practice problems for the chapter 7 test tomorrow
Thurs-chapter 7 test
Friday-part 1 of project

Vacation homework

I hope everyone enjoys the Easter Break. It is a great time to spend with your family and have some real quality family time. It also is a good time to do some extra credit work and some reading. Progress reports will be out right when we come back.

We also will be having a party for those kids who are up to date with work and who are behaving well....

Mr. Russo will also be visiting for a Civics Class...

So a lot of wonderful things are coming our way....

Homework for the break for both grades is Castle Learning. There are 2 assignments that are due the day we get back.
