Thank you to all of those who participated in the show and came to watch the fabulous 8th grade!! They worked hard and it showed.

These past couple of weeks we have been asking everyone to be generous and help those in need. I thank those who contributed to the needy, the church, Wilkin (the boy from DR who we adopted) and to the bake sale. The bake sale was a big success and a great fundraiser!! I also want to thank Ms. Dyer, Ms. Noel, and Ms. Williams, Ms. O'Garro, Ms. John and Ms. Jean Panel for helping out during the day!! They worked hard and we couldn't have done it without them!! Thanks again.

I wish you all a safe and healthy holiday season. I look forward to a new start in a new decade!! 2010!

This is the third week of Advent. This is a season of prayer and reflection, as well as a season of waiting. We are focusing on patience, the value of the month and preparing for Christmas.

Thank you to all of the parents who came out to Parent Teacher Conferences. I truly enjoyed speaking with you all. I felt as if it was a successful and productive two days. If you were unable to come please contact us so we can set up a meeting.

This week is very busy:
Tuesday-Penance Service for grades 4-8. It also is the last day to donate Scarves and Gloves for Hour Children. Please do that.

Wednesday-make sure you have your Christmas show costume ready. If you are unsure of what you are wearing please email me or speak with me.

Thursday-our dress rehearsal for the show. All students come in costume for the school's performance in the a.m.

Friday-The big show! Students be here at 6 p.m. The show starts at 7. Buy tickets before hand. They will cost more at the door.

7th grade hw
This week we start a new chapter. We are focusing on exponents and scientific notation.

Mon-get tests signed and corrected. 3-1 odd
Tues-3-1 even, r 3-2 #1-10 study for quiz
Weds-quick quiz, 3-2 odd

Friday-Like every Friday, make up late work

There is a lot going on this week:
-Conferences Thursday and Friday-notes were sent home last week and were due last Friday. If you haven't returned them please send them in ASAP
-No school Tuesday for The Feast of the Immaculate Conception
-8th grade continues to practice for the Christmas show-note about costumes goes home this week
-8th grade has their graphs due-their test grade for the week
-7th grade has their word problems due and a chapter test on Friday
-both grades will get their tests back on Monday-all tests should be signed, corrected and returned

I look forward to seeing the parents this week and as always feel free to send me an email if there are any questions or concerns.

The test grade this week is the graph illustrations they made, and wrote directions for...see them hanging up whwhen you come for conferences
