Thank you to all of the 8th graders. You worked very hard and did a wonerful job on the Christmas Show. I am very proud of all of you.

Please note that there is early dismissal - 11 am -- on December 20 and 21. There is no after school or homework help on these days.

Information about School Island
Students need to complete all assignments on School Island. If there is an issue with internet service or the home computer, please let the teachers know so that we can accommodate the student. We can arrange for them to utilize the school computers during recess.

The 8th grade is working on a ramp project. There have been 3 parts to this project. Each is an individual grade. The project must be complete before winter break. (This will be their test grade for the week)

Mon- 12-1 even, ramp chart, and paper past due
Tues-12-1 #21-23 r 12-1
Weds-Projects must be complete-write ups about another person's ramp
Thurs-finish all missing work

On Sunday, we began the second week of Advent, This week we have some special events that will help us prepare for Christmas and the birth of Jesus.

Tuesday - Penance Service for grades 4-8
Wednesday - 8:30 Mass - Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Friday - SFA's Annual Christmas Show 7 pm

Reminders
All students are to come to school on Friday in their costumes. Dress Rehearsal begins at 9:30 am.
Please be at school at 6:00 pm on Friday night. This will ensure we are ready for the opening number.
Tickets are on sale for $5 per ticket. The tickets will be $7 at the door.

Reminders:

1. Penance service on Tuesday.
2. Tests and quizzes were returned on Monday and must be signed and corrected
3. Wednesday mass at 8:30 please join us.
4. Confirmation candidates who did not attend the meeting Sunday must give Ms. Becht a note explaining why they did not attend or they will not continue the program. This note must be given to her by Friday December 14.
5. Christmas show tickets are on sale-$5 now-or $7 at the door-get them now and don't wait on line.
6. Christmas show dress rehearsal is this Friday morning. Everyone must come to school in costume.
7. All high school forms have been sent out. If you have any concerns or questions please email Ms. Becht.

The 8th Grade is participating in the Christmas Show on Dec. 14, 2007. Tickets are going on sale next week.

8-205 is currently collecting money for Maryknoll Missionaries, this organization of dedicated missionaries works around the world to spread the word of God. Visit the website:Maryknoll Missionaries. Please help us with our Advent charity program. Sunday began the first week of Advent.

Students need to be working on their School Island assignments at home. For students who are having trouble, please contact Ms. Black. School Island
