The end of summer vacation........
The long days of summer are winding down....there are less than two weeks left of vacation.
There are some important reminders about the beginning of the 2009/2010 school year.
1. School starts on September 9th - 8am to 10:30am. Hopefully it will be a nice day-so we can all meet in the school yard.
2. School supply lists were given out in June-they can still be found on the teacher's web-pages. Check the sales - this is a great time to save some money while you are shopping.
3. Summer Assignments are due the first week of school. I have checked Castle Learning and there are still quite a few students who need to work on the summer assignments. Extra credit will be given to the students who finish all 4 of the S.S. Castle Learning assignments by 9/9/09.
4. On Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009, the closing event of the 100th Anniversary year will take place at the 12:30pm liturgy. The choir will be singing at the mass and there will be students performing during the luncheon that follows. See the home page of the school website for information about tickets.
