Here are the tasks you are to complete when you have finished reading the book.

Cover page---write your first and last name. Design an original cover for your report.

Write an introduction that illustrates how the story begins.

Page 1. Character Profile

Write a character profile for each of the Provensi children--Susan, Edmund, Peter, and Lucy
Use the character traits list in your ELA notebook to help you. Provide an explanation based
on an event in the story to support your choice. Write 3 to 5 sentences.

Page 2. Conflict

Lucy goes to Narnia through the wardrobe and meets Mr. Tumnus, what conflict do the siblings -brothers and sisters face?
What is the main problem in the story? How was the problem solved? List three important episodes that
helped to resolve the problem.
who is Aslan? What role does he play in helping the Provensi children?
How do Mr. Tumnus and Mrs Beaver teach the children an important lesson? Discuss each character separately.

Page 3 Discovery

What is Turkish Delilght and to what extent does the White Witch use it to make Edmund her victim?
What does Edmund discover about himself?
What does he discover about his brother and sisters by the end of the story.


Page 4 Resolution and Symbolism

How do the children and Aslan help save Narnia?
What Christian Themes did you find in the story? Find three and describe how each
symbolizes christian beliefs.

Page 5 Art---A story for all seasons
In the story, it is perenially winter in Narnia. Here is your chance to to change the never ending winter in Narnia. For this project you will retell the story through graphics.
Create a circular design representing the 4 seasons. Each quadrant will reflect a particular season.
Use symbols to portray the events unique to the story. Explain your design.

Our trip to the NY Hall of Science was a success. The student had a fun learning time..So much so, the

comments were: "the trip was a blast" and such thoughts as, "I didn't think a trip to a science museum

coul be so much fun." Thank you to all of the parents, especially those who accompanied us. I hope you

enjoyed the exhibits as much as the students. Again, a million thanks from all of us.
