Reminders and Important Information


Finals: As I had mentioned to the classrpreviously, each student is responsible to review basic concepts that we have covered throughout the school year in all the different areas.Please assist your child to review these concepts during the weekend and next week as well.

Religion Mini Project:Our last project is The Commandment Assignment that needs to be handed in on Monday,June 8th.There will be no exceptions to this assignment. Each student is responsible to accomplish his/her given tasks.We need to cultivate responsibility in our children at all times..

Tests/Quizzes Pending:There are students that are pending with quizzes due to sickness or being absent on the day a quiz was assigned.Students need to do these quizzes no later than Tuesday, June 9th..

Our school days are coming to an end.Please check calendars for coming 11:00 dissmissals. Students need to be picked up on time due to Teachers' meetings and other important issues that need to be addressed.

We need donations of rags, Clorox Wipes,and other cleaning utensils to arrange,clean and maintain our classroom in clean and good condition.
Once again, I thank all the Parents/Guardians that continuously have contributed with Paper Towels and other supplies that have always been useful our class needs, well appreciated.

Absent Notes:It is important to send you child with a written notice stating the reason of their absence. Even if you have called the office to inform the situation,written notices need to be sent the next day. these notices are important for our records. Thanks.

Important Information,Homework and Reminders-June1- 4th

Blessings to everyone.
Science Projects:Thanks to all the students that had well-prepared their projects with dedication and good effort, job well done.

Health Concern: The Department of Health and The Department of Education continues to remind us about the Swine Flu Symptoms.There are students that are with consistant coughs and sneezing in the classroom. As I had mentioned before, we need supplies that can help us assist our children with maintaining a clean- healthy enviroment(Ex.Paper Towel, Clorox wipes, Hand sanitizers, etc).If any symptom persists ,visit your doctor.
You will be receiving this week , the results from the NYState Tests in Math. The note will explain all the necessary information to assist you with the State Scoriing.
Monday
Ela:For Wed, please bring pictures/information on Coral Reefs.
Math:Do problems in the notebook.
R.P.Book: Do pgs 177 and 181.
ElA-Write personal interpretations of the definition of the words assigned in class.

Tuesday
Grammar:Do pgs 153+154
Math:Do pg 138(front pg only)
Spelling:Write sentences using words from #1-20.Use two words in each sentence.

Wednesday

R.P.Book Do pgs 182+183.
Grammar:Do pgs 155+156.
Religion: Questions related to this week's review lessons.

Thursday

Review -Book-B for the Science Test.pgs given in class previously.
Spelling:study for the test(Definitions and sentences.

Next Week students will have their Finals based on general concepts that have been thought in class. Each student is responsible to revise their lessons with time and dedication.Let us limit tv and games so our children will be more prepared to respond correctly for the tests Enjoy the weekend!
