Information for Dec 21-23

Thanks to all the Parents and Students for their cooperation and hard work for the Christmas Show! Good job well done!

Christmas Break.Each student will receive some information on a book report assignment for those days. .Plesae check notebooks, folders for any further information.

Homework wilkl be reinforced information given for work this week. Please check pads and H>W notebooks.

Tues.DEc22- Our Chritsmas celebration will be around 11:00 a.m. . Please bring your donation that was requested from Friday.

Wed,Dec23-Early dismissal. NO Afterschool program. Each student will be dismissed at 10:30. Please be on time.

Important Information for the week of Dec14-18th

Christmas Show is here! Tickets are on sale. Children should be in school no later 6:00 p.m. Please be on time.
Boys: We need each boy to bring in the empty butter container w/cover to make our drums! It needs to be in by Tuesday, Dec 15th.
I showed an example in class today.

Donation:As Christians it is important to share what we have with others.Please send in your donations of the Bay itemsor Hand/Body Lotion for tomorrow Dec.15th. Thanks.

Reminder:Dress Attire for the Christmas Show
Lead Speakers:Gym Clothes,to change into outfits.
Girls::Black shirt,white long sleeve turtle neck, off black stockings,black shoes,and hair combed to the right side in a bun.
decoration for the hair will be given to them.
Boys: Black pants, red long sleeve sweater turtle neck,black shoes.

Quizzes for this week: Spelling:Definitions of the words from the two last spelling lists.-Thursday
Tuesday-Math :Multiplication and Division Stories.

Social Studies:Brochure due Dec 17th.Welcome to my Settlement "Details have been given in class.Further reminders will be given on Tuesday.

Monday
Sentences with the list for the NYState Prep , give Personal Interpretations and Sentences for each word.
Religion:Answer the following qquestions: Why is it important to ask for forgiveness?
What do you understand by Penance?
Math :Review for the Quiz.
Grammar:Do sentences with the Present and Past tense of Verbs.

Religion:Christmas tradition in____the country each child chose forrm a bag.
Each student needs to write at least two paragraphs with information based on the Christmas traditions celebrated in that country. Illustrations are also need for the assignment.

Tuesday
Math:Wkb pgs 38 front and back.
Comprehension Assignment given in class.
Science:Study for the Quiz pending from last week.

Wednesday
ELA:Story Writing using the words assigned in class.
Religion: Why we should be more prepared as Christians during Advent?
Give two reasons.
Review for the Spelling Quiz.
