Next week is Catholic Schools Week. There are certain activities that are scheduled for this week.

Sunday : There is a special Liturgy to iniate the CSW .Mass will be at 12:30.Students that are participating should come in school uniform.

Career Day: Parents that are participating will be on Thursday. If you are still interested, please notify us on Monday.
GYM:4-104 will not have gym on Buddy Day.February 5th.We are Buddying with an eight grade class.Each student will dress according to their agreement they made with their Buddy.

Black History Assignment: THe title"African American Inventors" is assigned for Thursday,February 4thA previous letter was sent with detailed information.

Progress Reports need to be returned no later than Monday, February 1st.

Social studies:States and Capitals of the first 15 states.
Science-Review C4-C15. Students were given information titles to reinfornce in their readings.

strong>Many students are not taking the time to reinforce given lessons from class . This situation is highly refected in their daily performance and assigned quizzes.

Folders w/pockets for the ELA/Math/Science Prep for State Tests are going to be revised by Monday,February 1st

Read books every night at least 15-30 minutes.

Assigned projects/assignments: There are students that are not complying with their assigned projects. Student need to be more responsible with accomplishing their tasks at the given time/date.
Please revise given letters, notices, and the webpage for further information on coming assignments for class.

Outreach for Haiti:Each student is responsible to bring a monetary donation to help our brothers and sisters in Hait. As we know, many Parents, relatives, and friends have assisted Haiti with donations throughout different Organizations and Charities,but we must encourage our children to give a helping hand with their own cooperation.
Students will receive a pin as a sign of their cooperation with the Republic of Haiti.

Career Day: Every year we celebrate Catholic School Week. Career Day is Thursday,February 4th.If there is a Parent, relative or friend that would like to share their career experience with our students, let us know by sending in your name and time that would be suitable for you.Thanks.
