Welcome!

Dear Students and Parents,

My name is Ms. Cohen, and it was so nice meeting you during these first weeks of school. Our class is already beginning to establish a close-knit community of learners, so I am confident that this will be a wonderful year for Class 3-106. During these first few days of school students have been realizing their goals for third grade and how they can achieve them. Class 3-106 has set ambitious goals, so remember I am here to help these goals be accomplished.

In Class 3-106, homework is given daily as an extension of classwork or extra practice. It is important that homework is done on-time so the work of each student can be assessed. Every morning students copy their homework, while the previous night's homework is check. Reminders are given to students about which books and notebooks need to be taken home, but it is the students' responsibilities to take home the right books. Homework will be accepted late with a deduction. Also the purple folders go home daily with students. This is the best way to communicate between home and school. These folders containing information from our class or the office need to be checked everyday. Please send any notes or forms back to school in the purple folder. Thank you.

I am excited to better get to know every student, and remember I am here to help your children grow and succeed. If you have have any questions or concerns regarding your child's learning please contact me. Thank you, and I am looking foward to the weeks ahead.

Sincerely,
Ms. Cohen
