Reminders:
1. ELA State testing will take place this week!!! April 26th, 27th, and 28th.
2. Please eat a nutritious breakfast every morning.
3. Bring in sharpened #2 pencils.
4. Please be on time for school. Testing begins in the morning.
5. Pizza Day is this Wednesday. Please bring in $5. The money will be collected during lunchtime.
6. 11:00 dismissal on Friday, April 30th.

Monday
1. Write your own personal interpretations for the following words: probability, area, product, congruent, equation, and quotient.
2. Math problems in your notebook.
3. Prepare for testing!!! Eat breakfast, go to bed early, relax, and bring in sharpened #2 pencils and water.
4. Read for 20 minutes.
Tuesday
1. Write your own personal interpretations for the following words: multiple, symmetry, equivalent, perpendicular, parallel, and perimeter.
2. Math workbook p. 49 (front and back)--Remember to use the key!!!
3. Math problems in your notebook.
4. Tomorrow is the last day of the ELA test. Please be prepared: eat breakfast, go to bed early and relax, and bring in sharpened #2 pencils and water.
5. Bring in $5 for Pizza Day!
6. Read for 20 minutes.
Wednesday
1. Draw a picture or use numbers to show an example of each spelling word.
2. Math workbook p. 101 (front and back).
3. Social Studies: List some of the natural resources that are needed to build a house. List some of the workers whose labor is needed to build a house. Include one illustration to go with your answer.
4. Division packet is due Friday.
5. Read for 20 minutes.
Thursday
1. Write your spelling words 3 times each and study for your test tomorrow!
2. Math workbook p. 102 (front and back).
3. Science- What happens when there is a gap or break in a circuit? Make a list of things that can conduct electricity and a list of things that cannot conduct electricity.
4. Division packet is due tomorrow!!!
5. "Measurement of Me" Book is due Tuesday.
6. Tomorrow is an 11:00 dismissal.
7. Read for 20 minutes.
Friday
1. Scholastic News Summary. Please complete the summary on loose leaf paper and include your opinion of the article.
2. Division packet due Monday!
3. "Measurement of Me" Book is due Tuesday.
4. Review for Math State Testing next week.
5. Read for 20 minutes each day.
Reminders:
1. Our trip to Green Meadows to see the Festival of Cultures is this Tuesday, April 20th. Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. You need to bring your own lunch!!! Students have been told if their parent may come on the trip to chaperone (Taylor, Hailey, Alex, and Nicholas). Chaperones must be at the school by 9:15am.
2. New York State ELA testing will take place April 26, 27, and 28.
3. New York State Math testing will take place May 5, 6, and 7.
4. Jewelry and chocolate fundraiser is due Monday, April 26th.

3. Fact and opinion worksheet, and write 3 facts and 3 opinions about the Statue of Liberty.
4. Wear sneakers and comfortable clothes for the trip tomorrow!
5. Please bring your own lunch for the trip tomorrow!!!
6. Read for 20 minutes.
Tuesday
1. Write your own personal interpretations for the following words: fade, reflex, signal, bitter, fond, and conquer.
2. Choose to cultures that we saw today to compare and contrast. Make a Venn diagram to record the similarities and differences. Then write a paragraph explaining your observations. Remember to think about language, music, dance, costumes, and instruments.
3. Read for 20 minutes.
Wednesday
1. Use each spelling word in a sentence.
2. Pick 2 things that you see at home, and make a list of all the physical properties.
3. Math problems in your notebook.
4. Read for 20 minutes.
Thursday
1. Write your spelling words 3 times each and study!!!
2. Math problems in your notebook.
3. Read for 20 minutes.
4. Bring in $5 for pizza day!!!
Friday
1. Scholastic News Summary.
2. Synonym worksheet.
3. Division packet due next Friday.
4. Review all practice testing booklets.
5. Rest and go to bed early on Sunday, eat breakfast, and bring in 2 sharpened pencils on Monday. You must be on time!!! Testing begins before 8:30 am.
6. Read for 20 minutes.

3. Spring photos will be taken Wednesday, April 14th. Please do not bring in any money to purchase the photos. Photos may or may not be purchased when received. Students may wear their own clothes. PLEASE dress appropriately.
