Mathematics:

 1.  1 Stem and leaf plot. Analyze the data shown in the plot. Find the range median and the mode of the Data.

         Page 11- 4 R and P

 2.  Misleading graphs  -  Explain why?   11 - 9 Practice and reteaching.

 3.  Draw two graphs of your choice for the data given in class.

 4.  Problem solving. - Make a graph  for the information given on page 649 of your text book.

 

Science:

 1.  Energy and work -  Read and answer the following questions: How do you do work on an object?

How is work changed to heat? What is the equation used to calculate work? What is the law of the conservation of energy?

 2  Remember to begin working on your science fair project.

     Have your plan

     Have all your supplies - markers, crayons  construction paper, typed information. etc.

2.  Finding Probability- listing possible outcomes -  Math Workbook R and P ,11- 12.

3.  Finding mean ,mode ,median and range-   R and P 11-2

4. Finding volume of rectangular prisms-   R and P 10 - 16.

Science:

1.  Write the definitions of the following words - position, motion, distance, speed, average speed, velocity, acceleration.

2.   Answer the questions on page F9.

3.  Page F11. How can you find speed? Make a prediction after reading the facts.

Religion:

  1. Research the "Stations of the cross" Reflect on one of the stations and draw a image of it.

2.  Percent of increase and decrease:  Reteaching and practice. Workbook pages 7-9

3.  Reasoning and problem - solving. Problems given during math class.

4. Multiple choice questions based on percent. Page 396 Textbook ; numbers 1-5

Science:

1. What is heat?  What is temperature? How can temperature be measured?

What happens when you put a hot object with in contact with a cooler one? Write an explanation for each question.

2.  Research, 'African American Astronauts". Select one and make a short presentationabout him/her and the space programthey are involved with.

Religion:

1.  These questions are based on the chapter story read in class.What questions would you have for Andy and his friends? Would you want to be a 'World Youth Day Pilgrim' Why or why not?
