Page 153, section assessment2. Answer all questions.There are 8 questions.

Key terms Define each term in a sentence.Expplain them in your own words.species, fossil, adaptation, evolution, natural selection scientific theory, variation.

Examine figure 5 on page 143 and figure 6 on page 144. What factors of natural selection are demonstrated.

All textbooks should have been handed in.

Complete the worksheets given during your vacation. "Merry Christmas and a happy New Year."

Read Page 164 and page 165. There are 3 activities. Answer the questions that explain the skills we use in scientific method. Observing, predicting, classifying, inferring, communicating and making models.

Page 168. Read  and write the main idea of each paragraph, as discussed in class.

From the magazine given to you in class, select an article and write a summary of about 10 facts based on the information given.

During the Christmas vacation. Complete the worksheets given. All questions are based on information covered. Please research any questions that may present  difficulty.

New textbooks will be issued in January. It is the responsibility of all students to have returned the "Astronomy"textbook. "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my students and their families."
