Dress Rehearsal for Spring Show - Thurs.

Request to parents --- on the night of the show I will need volunteers to help me clean up after the kids have feasted on their snacks. Please let me know if you can help....Many thanks.


******Important Reminders******

Girls --- Wear PE uniforms. Will change at recess. Come in the shoes for the show and your hair already done in a bow with the wide ribbon.

Boys --- Wear your pants and shoes for the show or PE pants. Wear a t-shirt

Everyone - if you do not have clean school t- shirts, wear plain white, blue, yellow or pink t- shirts.

Bring everything for the dress rehearsal.

Spring Show Reminder -- Very Important

The dress rehearsal for the Spring show will be on Wed. 19th.

The actual show will be on Fri. 21st.

Outfits should be brought to school on Mon. 17th for approval, please.

Girls -- Skirt, one or two inches below the knee. Has to flow when you move. Any color. Loose, not tight.
-----------Blouse should match the skirt and have a collar.
-----------Shoe-canvas low top or white sneaker(if you cannot find a canvas) with low white socks.
-----------Hair --pony tail -- big ribbon.

Boys -- Pants -- dress pants, not tight.
-----------Button up shirt with maching tie.
-----------Shoe-canvas low top or white sneaker(if you cannot find a canvas).
-----------Hair -- gelled to 50's style (if possible).

Accessories

Scarves (girls) -- provided.

Large framed eye glasses (girls) -- at you discretion.

Letterman jackets/ sweaters made to look like letterman jackets -- discuss with Ms. Black/Ms Moreland

7th & 8th Grade Easter Vacation HW

We have reached the end of another chapter.

For the 8th grade, we have finished the chapter on volcanoes.

For the 7th grade, we have finished the chapter on non- vascular and seedless vascular plants.

Easter vacation homework will be an e-test for every student in the 7th and 8th grade.

This will be on Castle Learning. It will be available on Thurs., April 1st.

This is your chapter test. The grade that you receive will be the grade that you get. Retries will be counted as full credit. Good luck.

Due date: Mon. Feb. 22nd @ 8:10 a.m.

1. Pick a topic that you are interested in.

2. Research the topic...see if there is a hypothesis you can prove/disprove based on that tpic.
