7-204- Choices txtbk- read pages 100-103. Then brainstorm 3-4 ideas you would like your pen pal to know about you. Use the story as a reference. Religion-- On construction paper, draw a sketch of how you would like our billboard to look.

8-205- All his life,Tim Meeker has looked up to his brother, Sam. Sam is smart and brave and always knows the right thing to do. Everyone in town admires him. Until now. 1. What do you think Sam did to longer have his town admire him? Why? 2. Was there ever a time you disappointed your parents or friends? Explain the situation and resolution.

8-206- The Giver is about a utopia- an ideally perfect society. Utopia is the name of an imaginary island inhabited by an ideal society in a satire written by Sir Thomas More 1516.Imagine that you are going to set up a erfect society. Where will your society be located? How will it be governed? What will be the requirements for membership? What rules would you establish?

7-204--Religion-- On looseleaf paper, brainstorm ideas for our religion project. How I know God is present in my life? Think of ways we can create a billboard filled with advertisements which answers the question. Be sure to write the kinds of materials you think we could use for our billboard.
