7-203- Choose a time period from the novel "The Bomb" and create a collage which depicts the atmosphere, environment, and people of that particular period. On a separate sheet of paper, in one paragraph, type the explanation of your collage. Ex. In the beginning, the people of Bikini Atoll lived peaceful lives. Therefore a collage which depicts their peace will be pictures of families at a beach, people helping one another, children playing etc. Be mindful, you can take pictures from a magazine.
7-204- Choose a character from the novel "Amos Fortune" and create a journal based on the character's life. Be sure to stay as close to the characters age and life style. Remember those who choose the character Cylindia will have to start their journal from the age of 4, Amos would be 15 years of age. You are to write 10-15 journal enteries, and try to stay as close to the novel as possible.
8th grade- Character sketch. Many students haven't handed in their sketch. Monday February 22, 2010 will be the last day to submit the sketch.
