Thanksgiving

We wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. Thank you to all who participated in the Outreach Project. The food pantry is well stocked and Hour Children recieved funds to assist them. In addition, Providence House received some needed items for the babies and mothers.

Big Apple Results

It seems like we keep saying "Thank You" and here we go again, thank you to all families who participated in the first fund raiser. The total monies brought in was $23,313.20. As a result, many prizes were won and the school netted about $10,650.00.

Grade 6-202 had 45% participation and brought in $2219.50. As the highest in both categories, Ms. Delandro and
her class win the pizza party. Congratulations!

3rd Annual Walkathon Results

Thanks to all who helped in the third annual Walkathon. The students, teachers parents had a great day. At this point, prizes have been awarded to the individuals who surpassed the suggested $30.00. We are grateful to all whose support and enthusiasm made this a successful day.

A special thank you to Mrs. Roberts- Noel and Mrs. Williams who were here for days checking and re-checking, purchasing and distributing the gifts. The total before the cost of Tee Shirts and prizes was $13,646.00.

The top classes were: 4-103 and Mrs. Daniels $1,174.00
3-105 and Mrs. Alejandro $1,090.72
8-203 and Ms. Black $1050.00 (This class had 100% participation!!)

The five top sellers were:
Joel Darius 3-105 with $412.00
Timothy Noel 4-103 with $331.00
Marcus Thomas 8-203 with $245.00
Stephen Branch 4-103 with $241.00
Breanna Osborne 3-106 with $200.00

In addition 18 students brought in more than $100.00 Thank you to all!!

If you would still like to contribute and have not done anything yet, please send the money to Mrs. Baynes and mark it "Walkathon". Only one class had 100% participation. We'd like all to participate. This fund raiser helps us meet the school budget. We need eveyone's assistance. Please do your part to keep our school viable and affordable.

Home School Meeting

During the meeting on Wednesday, November 2nd, the parents had the opportunity to use the CPS while answering questions and giving their opinions on a variety of topics. As you can see from the photo, it was an enjoyable lesson!
