MARCH CALENDAR DATESWe will be distributing the March calendar on Wednesday. Please post it in a convenient place or download the calendar from this website. There are many important dates to keep in mind. On March 7, we have rescheduled the Internet Safety Workshop. This is being presented by a professional and will address many issues including internet bullying and appropriate use of the internet.
Report Cards are being readied for distribution on March 15 and 16. Appointment information will be sent on Monday. Please return your choices of times to the teacher. This conference is your responsibility as a parent and it is essential that you meet with the teachers.
As you know, we are doing an intensive study of all aspects of the school. The Education Commission has received the work of the staff including information from the various surveys we sent home in the fall. This commission is integral to the Middle States process.
The faculty will be using March 19th as a professional day to continue our work on this study. We will be asking your assistance again as we review the academic component of the school. Watch for a survey and/or questionnaire that will be sent during the month of March.

Equipment ordered using Title V Federal Funds includes a 24 foot colored parachute that is used in different cooperative games. The equipment arrived one day and the third grade students began using the parachute on the next day!! Exercise is a wonderful way to keep healthy and fit.

Information on Flyer
The students are bringing a flyer home today that has information about the Immigration Forums on Sunday,
Feb. 18th sponsored by SFA Church and being held in the school auditorium.
In addition, there are some school reminders including school closing in the event of a major snowstorm. Since we are being warned in advance of an approaching blizzard, I will use the SCHOOL NEWS area to post information about the status of the school. Please read the information on the website on a regular basis. Thank You!

A Word of GratitudeThank you to all the families who showed their appreciation of the staff during Catholic Schools Week. The photo below shows the array of delicious foods served by a few of our dedicated parents. Mrs. Brown-Baird organized the event with the assistance of many other generous parents. We thoroughly enjoyed the best catered meal in the world: Homecooking by talented chefs!! The dessert table was as plentiful, but no photo was taken.
