Preparing for the MSA Visit
Ms. Curcio's fifth graders learn about recycling as they create Halloween decorations in preparing the hallways for the visit from the team of reviewers this week!! Mr. Bones is treated with great care and so are their uniforms as they paint their projects!!

Brother Arlen Harris Visits SFA
Brother Arlen Harris, who graduated from our school in 1990 visited the students on October 4, the Feast of St. Francis. In this photo, a group of our 8th grade students meet Brother Arlen. He is a deacon in the religious order, the Franciscans, named after our patron saint. He will give the homily at the 8:30am Mass on Friday. We thank him for coming to our school and helping us to know about St. Francis of Assisi in a unique and special way.

Walkathon Reminder
This photo was taken three years ago!!! We have raised money each year which has enabled the school to improve the teaching and learning. Last year we purchased 18 new computers and this year we have installed two ceiling fans in each classroom.
Start to get donations from sponsors now!!! Sponsor sheets will be sent home next week. The WALK-A-THON is Friday Nov. 9 from 8:45am-11:45am. We will start to order tee shirts next week, presuming that hundreds of our children will bring in the minimum of $35.00.
