8th Graders Enact "The Last Supper"

On Wednesday, March 19th, the 8th graders helped the students understand the "Last Supper" of Jesus, as they played the parts of Jesus and his disciples. There was a ritual of washing of hands for everyone. This beautiful presentation was followed by a video showing the betrayal, the arrest and trial and finally, the crucifixion and death of Jesus. All were reminded that for us as Christians, we know that the Resurrection of Jesus is a promise to all of us. We are grateful to the teachers and students who helped us prepare for Easter.

Lenten Outreach

During Lent, each class is reaching out in a different way to help others. These photos show children in Class 1-108 visiting Sts.Joachim and Anne Nursing Facility in Coney Island. Mrs. Howell and Mrs. John once again prepared the children to entertain the residents. The teachers, students and parents traveled by bus on Friday, March 8.

All classes are collecting change or dollars which will be sent to people in various countries through the Catholic agency for the missions. Please encourage them to be generous. All donations are welcome.
