Thursday is "Back to School" Night
Don't forget to check the monthly calendar to know what is going on at school. On Thursday evening at 7:00pm, we will have our first meeting of the Anniversary Year!! Please come to the auditorium where we will introduce the staff and have a 10 minute presentation by Mr. Wright from the District Attorney's office. He will make a longer presentation during the year. After this, you will meet your child's teacher and have a better sense of the expectations and support you can give and receive. We hope to have our usual excellent attendance. The photo below shows some industrious 4th graders who are helping prepare the school for the first event of the 100th Year which is on Sat. Oct. 4,2008..

The First Day of the 100th Year is Blessed by Father Juan![]()
Father Juan blessed the children, parents and staff in the schoolyard on the morning of Sept. 8, 2008. On September 8th, 1909, the school on Maple St., now the Parish Center, opened its doors to 250 children under the direction of five Sisters of St. Joseph. As we begin our 100th Year, 380 students, three Sisters of St. Joseph and dedicated lay faculty share the distiction of continuing the legacy which was begun so long ago.

Welcome Students!
We look forward to meeting grades 1-8 at 8:00am on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd. The teachers and staff began the 100th year at the parish liturgy where Father Philip blessed all of us.
