Christmas Show 2008 Delights the Crowd!!

Snow Alert!!
We sent notices home on Thursday stating that this would be an excused absence for those who keep children home due to the expected snowstorm. Dismissal is at 11:00 which is said to be the height of the storm. The staff will be in as usual, but we have cancelled our Christmas gathering. Thanks you for your continued support!!

Christmas Show on Wed. Dec. 17, 2008
We will be having our annual Christmas performance dress rehearsal on Wed. morning. Children were told by their teacher to either wear or bring in the costume for Wednesday morning. The show on Wed. night is for the parents and families at 7:00pm. Tickets are on sale now! Get your ticket early and avoid the long lines!!!

"Preserving the Vision" Update
On Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, Bishop Caggiano held a Town Hall Meeting at the Immaculate Conception Center in Queens. At our last HSA meeting, we showed the video "Preserving the Vision" and explained the process of this strategic plan for the elementary schools in Brooklyn and Queens. Each school had the opportunity to send two parents to the meeting. We had asked for volunteers at the HSA meeting and were able to enlist two of our parents who were then invited to go last night and/or submit questions. This town meeting was recorded and will be available for viewing on Cable TV on the Prayer Channel as follows:
Friday Dec. 5 10:30am 4:00pm Prayer Channel can be seen on Time Warner Ch. 97
Sat. Dec. 6 10:30am 4:00pm on Cablevision Ch 30
