SCHOOL IS CLOSED FRI.,FEB. 26th

School is closed today due to the continued dangerous snow storm. We will make a decision about the dance later today. Please check the website after 2:00pm. This is not a "vacation day"!!! Many students are able to complete schoolwork using the computer as well as working on the programs we have subscriptions for: learning.com or castle learning. Use the time to your advantage!!

Please Check this Site on Friday Morning

As of 10:00pm tonight, Feb. 25, the The Dept. of Education is keeping the public schools open.
Please check back after 6:00am, when we will make a decision regarding the opening or closing of our school.
Remember, your child's absence will be marked "excused absence", if your decision is to keep your son/daughter home due to the problems that this type of weather causes.
We know that some of the teachers who live at a distance will be unable to be present if the weather continues to make the roads impassable.

We have postponed the pizza sale. For students in grades 6-7-8, we expect that the dance will be held and tickets will be sold at the door.
Please check back tomorrow for updates on the status of school and the dance.Thank you for your patience. S. Theresa

Registration and Re-Registration is in Process

We have begun to register new children in Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten, so if you have family or friends whose children are born in 2005 or 2006, please let them know that we can accommodate their children and begin their formal school life in a wonderful manner! Financial aid is available through the Bishop's Scholarship for new satudents and the Futures in Education grant, using the PSAS application form.
The PSAS form is available now and you can download it here or just view it for your information. We have had many families receive from $700.00 to$1400.00 over these past years. Contact S. Marie for assistance.

SFA School Is Closed on Thursday, Feb. 11th

After careful thought, we will not open on Thursday, Feb. 11th. We regret the inconvenience this will be for many of you; however, with Father Juan's input, we believe there are many reasons to keep the children from traveling on Thursday.
