Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday begins our special holy days: Holy Thursday, the celebration of the Lord's supper, Good Friday: the commemoration of the crucifixion of Jesus, and finally Holy Saturday, the vigil of Easter, the greatest feast of our Church.
On Wed., the 8th graders will present the annual dramatization of Palm Sunday and the Last Supper. Students portray the figures in this solemn representation, washing the feet of their classmates. After this ritual, all children are invited to a symbolic washing of hands, to remind all that we are to serve one another, in the manner in which Jesus came to serve. Dismissal on Wednesday is at 11:00am and there is No Afterschool
After dismissal, the faculty prayed together using a simplified Seder Meal ritual. The photos below show the set table and one group preparing to read the questions.
